About Us

Aroha ki Te Atua, Ki te tangata me te ako hoki

Our Philosophy
We believe every child is a precious gift from God, created in his image - uniquely and wonderfully made with specials gifts and purpose.
At our pre-school, guided by Christ’s love, we have are dedicated to nurturing and educating hearts and minds with care, encouragement, and gentle guidance. We help children grow in the fruit of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness and self-control.

Curriculum and Environment
Our curriculum is rooted in God’s Word. We integrate the principles of Te Whāriki, The New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum to ensure comprehensive learning for every child. We provide a safe, loving environment where children grow not only in knowledge, but also in character, confidence and a strong foundation of faith. Tamariki will experience a balance of child initiated and teacher directed learning.
Prayer, Praise and God’s Word is woven throughout our day.

Whānau

We believe that family/whānau/caregivers are the most significant teachers of their children, entrusted with the responsibility of guiding them in faith and life. We work closely with families, to create close and supportive relationships between home and pre-school.

Kaiako

Our teachers bring with them a rich blend of experiences, training and a deep love for God’s Word. We support our Kaiako to grow not only in their teaching practice but also in their lives, as they continue to reflect Christ’s love in all they do. We are more than just a preschool - we are a Christ-centred community where children, families and teachers grow together in faith, love and purpose.
